2 Shot In Chicopee; Police Searching For Shooter

Police in Hampden County are investigating a shooting early Friday morning, June 30, that sent two people to the hospital in Chicopee, authorities said.

Chicopee police received a 911 call around 1:30 a.m. about a double shooting near the intersection of Grattan and Meadow streets, officials said. Both suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Investigators ask anyone with information on the shooting or security video from that area at that time to contact Chicopee detectives at 413-594-1740.
